• PHD has always believed that data verification provides increased confidence in the ability to restore backed up data. While some vendors are just beginning to explore this capability, we already verify that the data has been properly written to the backup target. 
• PHD enables self healing backups so if a sector has gone bad on a disk or you have a network glitch, you can heal that block of data transparently to the user.
• PHD helps with day-to-day support operations, since you can perform file level restoration so that you can assist users without having to restore the whole virtual machine.
• PHD’s unique self-restore capability means that you can restore data without access to the PHD software or license keys. This ensures you can meet your recovery requirements in the event of a disaster as well as providing long-term data protection for compliance.
