Inside Sales Representative

The Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales within their geographic territory. This job requires an aggressive hunter with a burning desire to earn top money by selling our industry leading Virtual Backup solution. The Sales Representative will work closely with Channel Partners and customers to identify and close opportunities.  An ideal candidate is a highly motivated sales professional with excellent prospecting, problem solving, time management, and forecasting skills.  Rigorous sales and technology training programs will set the foundation for your success.  Our company has a "promote from within" philosophy with a career path for those that show the ability to consistently achieve goals.

The goal of this position is to daily identify, develop, and book a maximum number of deals via phone and email.  All sales are conducted out of our Philadelphia, PA office.  The Sales Representative will be required to be in the office every day.  Telecommuting is NOT an option.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify inbound and marketing leads
  • Cold call prospects to identify new business opportunities
  • Work with team members in the assigned territories to maximize revenue potential and customers’ satisfaction across all accounts
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales target
  • Manage sales and technical resources to efficiently close business
  • Preparation of quotations and proposals
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing sales cycles
  • Build and maintain sales pipeline 4 times of the assigned target
  • Successfully present and deliver PHD Virtual Technologies solutions and services

Requirements:

  • 3 years of successful sales experience; preferably in technology sales, but not a must
  • Must be competitive
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Professional sales training is desirable
  • College Education
