Channel Account Manager - Philadelphia, PA
The Channel Manager is responsible for identifying and qualifying new reseller partners and generating PHD sales in the assigned US and Canada territory. This job requires an aggressive hunter with a burning desire to earn top money by selling PHD Virtual’s award winning Data Protection software, across all market segments. All sales are executed via PHD Channel Partners. An ideal candidate is a highly motivated sales professional with excellent prospecting, problem solving, channel partnering, time management, and forecasting skills.

Responsibilities
- The Channel Account Manager must develop executive-level relationships with resellers (VARs), distributors, and large customers within North American territory.
- Track record of accomplishment selling in the enterprise, client-server market
- Proven relationships in top tier enterprise accounts and ability to open new
- Develop a channel sales business plan
- Achieve growth and revenue objectives
- Identify and qualify new Reseller / Distributor Partners
- Visit customers with the Reseller / Distributor Sales Representatives to close business
- Identify new client opportunities
- Manage the forecast process
- Manage the Reseller Executive level relationships as well as the relationships at the local level
- Provide competitive intelligence
Requirements
- 5 plus years experience IT products and managing channels.
- Must have a successful track record in meeting sales quota objectives.
- Must have an understanding of and experience in strategic selling.
- Must have experience developing sales/channel strategies, preparing proposals and quotes and presenting networking products.
- Developing new partners from initial cold call to executive to preferred partner status
- Demonstrated consistent over achievement
