Candidate Profile

This position offers the opportunity to showcase your skills and knowledge of human interaction with a software product.

The qualified candidate will:

• Design and develop user interfaces and APIs
• Interact with product management team to understand and define how users effectively interact with the product
• Maintain proper documentation and use software development methodologies to ensure that products are developed to the highest standards
• Translate concepts into preliminary design approaches and follow through to complete implementation

The position is located in Morris Plains, NJ and offers:

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years experience developing and delivering web based applications
• Experience with Python,  Django,CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery libraries, AJAX, XHTML
• Experience with Apache a must
• Experience with MySQL and/or PostgresSQL a must
• Experience with Linux  and Windows a must
• Experience with Web 2.0 website development a must
• User Interface (UI) design experience and usability expertise a plus
• Excellent debugging, analysis and code development skills
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and troubleshoot software issues.
• Team player with excellent inter-personal and communication skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
