Channel Manager - Midwest
The Channel Manager is responsible for selling PHD Virtual’s Data Protection and Performance Monitoring Solutions by recruiting and enabling channel partners that focus on delivering solutions for virtual environments in the Midwest market. The Channel Manager will work with senior executives within Distributor and Reseller partners to develop and execute sales strategies that increase PHD’s and the partners’ revenues. The ideal candidate will also have strong enterprise sales skills with proven experience working directly with customers. This job requires an aggressive hunter with a burning desire to earn top money by selling PHD Virtual’s award winning Data Protection and Performance Monitoring software across all market segments.

Responsibilities
- The Channel Manager must develop executive-level relationships with resellers (VARs), distributors, and customers within their territory.
- Develop a channel sales business plan for their territory
- Achieve growth and revenue objectives
- Work closely with local Citrix and VMware account managers
- Identify and qualify new Reseller / Distributor Partners
Requirements
- 5 plus years experience with IT products and managing channels.
- Must have a successful track record in meeting sales quota objectives.
- Must have an understanding of and experience in strategic selling.
- Must have experience recruiting new partners and developing them to top producers
- Must have experience developing sales/channel strategies, preparing proposals and quotes and presenting networking products.
